This role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to follow direction, and a commitment to safety. Labourers must be dependable, punctual, and prepared for physically demanding outdoor work.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist field crews with daily civil construction activities</li><li>Perform general labour duties including:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Site setup and cleanup</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Material handling and tool support</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Trenching, backfilling, and excavation support</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Assisting operators and skilled trades as directed</li><li>Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment</li><li>Follow all company safety policies and site-specific procedures</li><li>Attend daily on-site meetings&nbsp;and safety tailgate meetings</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area</li><li>Support other tasks as required by supervisors and forepersons</li></ul>Requirements &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Valid Class 3 or Class 5 Driver's License</li><li>Clean Driver's Abstract (required)</li><li>Reliable personal transportation&nbsp;to and from the shop, office, or job sites</li><li>Local to Calgary&nbsp;(no fly-in/fly-out)</li><li>Ability to work 5 days per week, with flexibility for additional hours when required</li><li>Physically capable of performing manual labour in all weather conditions</li><li>Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions</li><li>Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented</li></ul>Assets (Nice to Have)<ul><li>Previous general labour or construction experience</li><li>Civil, utility, or telecom construction experience</li><li>Safety certifications (First Aid, Ground Disturbance, H2S, etc.)</li><li>Experience working around heavy equipment</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive hourly wages based on experience</li><li>Consistent full-time work</li><li>Opportunity for overtime and additional hours</li><li>Steady local work (Calgary-based)</li><li>Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company</li><li>A safety-focused, team-driven work environment</li></ul>On-Site Expectations<ul><li>Attendance at daily on-site meetings is mandatory</li><li>Compliance with all safety requirements and company policies</li><li>Professional conduct on all job sites</li></ul>
